On August 18, 2007 the Emerald Society of Wisconsin will host the 12th Annual NCLEES Fall business meeting in Milwaukee. The host hotel is the Four Points Sheraton - Milwaukee Airport, located at 4747 South Howell Av. (Phone 414-481-8000 or Toll Free 800-558-3862). Rooms have been blocked for arrival on Thursday, August 16, 2007 and are good through Monday, August 20, 2007. The room rate is $119.00 + per night (with a small charged for a roll-away bed) (If you would like to come in earlier or stay later, let us know well in advance so we can make arrangements to extend the rate.) When calling for reservations, make sure to mention that you are with the Emerald Society to get not only a special rate, but reservations made prior to June 30, 2007 will be eligible for a special drawing for that room to be free for the four day stay.

The Connecticut State Police Emerald Society wishes to send it's Condolences to the Family of Bobby Benson. Bobby passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 4th at the National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies fall convention. Bob was the Secretary of the New Haven Police Emerald Society.

The New Haven Emerald Society Pipers Pub Crawl is Saturday, Nov 4th. It kicks off at 5PM at the Colony Inn Hotel on Chapel Street. All are welcome to attend and participate. They are also going to have a Lobster bake on Sunday Nov 5th, the coat is $15 per person.

The Police Pipes and Drums of Waterbury, CT are proud to be named Host Band for the New Haven Police Emerald Society Fall Conference, the Weekend of Nov 3-5.
